Since 1994
Started by teachers, and still run by them
Vidya Niketan began in a rented house in Borsi with forty-six children and five teachers. It moved to the present campus in 2001 and received its CBSE senior secondary affiliation in 2006.
The school is run by the Vidya Niketan Education Society, a registered not-for-profit. Every rupee of surplus goes back into the campus: the last three years paid for the new science block and the covered play court.
